Hicks replaces Hammond on NBC's Notre Dame games (Yahoo! Sports)

NEW YORK (AP) -- NBC says Dan Hicks is replacing Tom Hammond as the lead play-by-play announcer on the network's Notre Dame broadcasts this season.
